Greg Meadows doesn't look like your typical superhero.  He wears a cowboy hat and riding boots when he's out saving lives.  Greg doesn't have any superhuman powers but he owns horses at the Il Figueroa stables near the corner of 132nd and Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.  It's not hard to find the stables once you get past the large industrial warehouses and train tracks.  It's right next to the strip club.

Every weekend Greg brings a group of kids from the surrounding community to the stables to let them experience the joy of riding.  These are kids who might otherwise be drawn into gang-related activity.  Kids as young as eight take turns climbing up the horses and riding up and down the short street in front of the stables.  When you see the poise and confidence that some of the riders exhibit, you might think you were observing a dressage competition.
